CarsOnTheWeb is a European online B2B second hand cars auction site that concentrates solely on selling a high-quality selection of second-hand and used cars, vans and trucks. Our website is for the exclusive use of professional car dealers and is not open to private individuals.

 

Why only for professional car dealers?

 

The basic premise behind CarsOnTheWeb is to keep the distance between buyers and sellers as short as possible. Saving on the “middle man” margins is of benefit both to buyers (because the purchase price is lower) and sellers (higher selling price). This enables both sides of the deal to achieve a decent, attractive margin, which in turn leads to satisfied customers. Working in this way we are able to build up a partnership with our customers because we can offer added value in the longer term by acting as the ‘facilitator’ or intermediary in the process. And to ensure that this approach runs smoothly, we restrict ourselves to professional vehicle dealers and traders only.

 

Can I use Cotw?

 

Our auctions are available solely for professional car dealers and traders and may only be used by them. They must be represented by persons who are authorised to enter into legally binding contracts in accordance with the legislation in effect. To maintain our strict policy that only professional dealers are permitted to access the online auctions, we reserve the right to exclude any visitor who does not have convincing company and VAT credentials.

 

I want to register for the online actions.

 

To access the auction section of the website, you must go through a simple registration process via the registration page. Registration is FREE OF CHARGE, but we do ask you within 7 days of completing your registration to provide us with a copy of your passport and a certificate or extract (e.g. from the trade register) by e-mail or fax, providing documentary evidence that you are a professional car trader. Not until we have received these 2 documents can we activate your login and password, enabling you to play an active part in our auctions.
