This award is an appreciation for a significant technological innovation that is developed by the company and that results in an important competitive advantage for its customers. The fast growing internet company is specialised in remarketing of vehicles via online auctions. The company functions as an intermediary in the B2B market with full service solutions for leasing companies and car manufacturers. CarsOnTheWeb.com strives to maximize the residual value of the offered vehicles. At the same time it opens the market for a very large number of traders which, until recently, where unable to make an offer on this fleet. The company aims at the European market of car dealers, and operates today already from Belgium and Germany with an offer of vehicles from those local markets.
CarsOnTheWeb.com caused a revolutionary reversal in the re-marketing world. Higher added values and enlarging the market, means a win-win situation for both the selling party, mainly leasing companies and car manufacturers, and for the purchasers: the medium and small car dealers.

Today, we already offer, only taken Belgium into consideration, 400 to 500 cars for sale in 4 to 5 auctions every week. This represents a market share of approximately 25 to 30% and this after only 1,5 year of activity. Today we have convinced more than 8.000 European car-traders to register on our websites. The most pleasant surprise was the fast acceptance, but most of all: the positive results in very short terms. We could conclude our first financial year with a (symbolic) positive result, en we expect firm strengthening of the result in our second operational year.”
