Our activity in the German market continues under the legal entity “OPENLANE Deutschland Gmbh”, with entities in Wuppertal (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Ursensollen (Bavaria).
Why are we making this change?
In short, to make your life as a seller easier. The integrated European platform of OPENLANE lists more than 4,000 cars a day, with 100,000 registered dealers looking to make sales. That means you’ll be selling your cars on one of the biggest remarketing platforms in the EU – so you can sell more quickly, more securely and more easily than ever, and profit from high market prices.
How will it work from now on?
You now have access to a website in over 20 languages, plus new kinds of auctions and innovative sales tools like a negotiation feature, due for release in early 2023.
Transactions on the new openlane.eu platform couldn’t be easier. OPENLANE takes care of every step, from inspection and auctioning to payment, document handling and EU-wide delivery. With two entities in Germany, you are sure to always have a contact person near you.
Your user account
In order to sell vehicles on the European auction platform openlane.eu, you need a valid VAT number.
If this has been deposited with OPENLANE GWListe, your company account has been integrated on openlane.eu. Your trusted contact person will contact you personally regarding the registration. But, for you it is no longer needed to have your own account with OPENLANE - we will handle the entire process for you.

What changes will be in effect from 01.01.2023?
• To make a price request: please use preisanfrage.openlane.eu as from 01.01.2023 onwards. The interface may look slightly different, but the process remains the same. Log in with your usual username (email address) & password.
If you have any questions regarding the price request, please contact us at [email protected].
• Nothing changes when it comes to inspection and collection: our services remain at the same level as before.
• Payment: Cars must be assigned within 48 hours after the auction ends, to ensure buyer satisfaction. We will transfer the money into your bank account after you have sent the corresponding invoice to OPENLANE Deutschland GmbH. The company address is Gewerbepark 2, 92289 Ursensollen, Bavaria.
• Car documents: from now on, car documents will no longer be enclosed with the vehicle, but must be sent to OPENLANE Deutschland GmbH - Gewerbepark 2, 92289 Ursensollen, Bavaria.
• Fee structure: Depending on volumes or use of pre-auction services like transport, we’ll apply a fee or invoice the inspections. Your contact person will contact you with a proposal.
